This is the Toronto ARES 8 PM Daily Traffic and Training Net for (today’s date). The Net Control Station for today is V*3*** and my name is - - - - - - - and I am located in - - - - - - - - . For the Net I will be using the call-sign, VE3NCS, Net Control Station. Please clearly say your call-sign and name slowly phonetically in all transmissions. All Stations are expected to remain on the Net frequency for the duration of the Net unless excused by Net Control and to operate with sufficient power to be clearly heard by VE3NCS, Net Control Station. This Net meets 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday at 8 PM on various repeater and simplex frequencies. Mondays and Fridays, evenings only on this VE3TNC, Toronto ARES Channel 2-Bravo VHF radio repeater. All stations are advised that all alpha-numeric and frequency references made during any Toronto ARES activity are public knowledge and available upon request. This Net is operated by the Toronto Amateur Radio Emergency Service Group.
