ESSOC Manual Appendix 1 - Personal Emergency Kit
In the event of a major emergency, you may be asked to evacuate your residence and take shelter. You can help to ensure your own safety and that of your family by being prepared.
Emergency supplies to sustain you and your family for a minimum of 3 days should be set aside, ready to take with you.
store supplies in an easy to find spot in your home, and store as many items in a box as ou can before hand. Clearly label the box (a standard brown file box will do) "Emergency Survival Kit" and have it stored in a visible, accessible location, or pack a "Grab and Go Bag".
